Oracle BICC (Business Intelligence Cloud Connector) is a cloud-based service that allows you to extract data from Oracle Fusion Applications and load it into a data warehouse or other data mart. BICC can be used to extract data from a variety of Oracle Fusion Applications, including ERP, HCM, and SCM.
Though there are many ways to extract data from Oracle Fusion , but Oracle BICC made is very easy and simple. With BICC you can setup and schedule jobs to extract and load data files into Oracle UCM server .
Once data is in UCM or oracle Storage Server , next key step is how to download the data. Option we have are
- Manually Download the files
- Use ODI for download the data
- Use OIC to download data.
In this blog post I have created a very high level process flow about how we can download data extract files from UCM server with an OIC flow and load into a On Premise/On cloud database for Reporting or Analytics purpose
