When to use Mediator in SCA

Mediator runs inside the SCA assembly and has very efficient bindings with all other assemblies of SCA , especially with BPEL Engine . In my opinion following are the 4 most efficient way to use Mediator inside SCA

1. Routing of data b/w components of SCA assembly.
2. Validation of i/p messages to SCA.
3. Transformation of data from one format to another format with in SCA.
4. Filteration.
