In R12i Oracle has added many new features in iStore. In next few blog postings I will talk about (very short) these features
1.In R12i , Oracle has provided feature to shut down the Payment Book .Now in R12i we have new profile option Retain Credit card preference , by setting this to 'N' we can now Shut down the Payment Book.
With payment Book Shut down , System will not display the Credit Card information in the drop down list while doing check out , rather System will prompt user to enter the Credit card Information every time user perform the Check out.
Once Payment book is shut down , it will reflect to all the B2C and B2B customer .But if your business has requirement to SHUT DOWN payment book just for B2C customer , and still want to use it for B2B customer , it can be achieved by means of setting Role IBE_USER_PAYMENT_BOOK.
