Oracle Sale Quote is another system that offers excellent opportunity for the sales guys to create/follow up and play with the Sales Quotes as per the customer requirement and needs. Once Quote is approved it can be converted into Sales Order(in Order management) with Single click of mouse.
In this blog I will explain some of important features available in Oracle Sale Quote.
Note – Please Note that there is no workflow associated with Oracle Sales Quote, off course we do have Approval workflow for Quotes (Integrated with AME)
Open the Sales Quote,
1. Enter Header
2. Enter lines.
Initially Sales Quote Status will be “Draft”.
Once sales Quote entered, we have option to split the line quantity as per our requirement , as shown below.
We can Apply Promotions/Modifier on Sales Quite. These can be manual or based in qualifiers. Below is an example about how to apply manual modifier
Sales Quote offer an extensive opportunity to record the Notes (public/private) and lot other type of messages.
You have an opportunity to Freeze/Unfreeze the price.
We can record Sales Team
We can record Sales Credit.
Other Features are
1. Copy quite2. Insert Contact team /Customers
3. Print Quote etc.
Finally Approve the Quote
Once Quote is approved we can create Sales Order by “Place Order” button.
